Instructions for filling Vaporizer Cartridges with Vapormaxx E-Juice

To fill the enclosed blank and prefilled cartridges, use a straightened paper clip to push the white cartridge reservoir vial up above the rim of the brown cartridge and fill with the E-Juice by using the following method.

Remove the white rubber cap from the cartridge. Hold the cartridge with the larger hole in the vertical (up) position. Insert the straightened clip through the small hole and push the white colored internal reservoir vial up so that it extends above the rim of the brown cartridge. Use the E-Juice bottle to fill the reservoir by squeezing the bottle with sufficient force to cause small drops of liquid to drip onto the cotton material inside the reservoir until filly saturated.

It will take approximately six to ten drops to fill the blank cartridges when filling for the first time, and approximately three to five to refill a previously filled cartridge. Do not over fill the reservoir, when you see the liquid e-juice starting to bead up after placing several drops on the cotton material inside the vial, the reservoir vial is filled to capacity, see care video below. This process may take several tries to perfect the task and method, but believe me it is not complicated and is well worth the time and effort, and is the most economical method used to keep the cartridges filled.

Battery and Atomizer Maintenance Tips

NOTE: ATOMIZERS ARE CONSUMABLE PRODUCTS, The following are some tips on maintaining your atomizer to avoid the cost of replacement of a dirty atomizer that is otherwise a perfectly good atomizer.

Maintenance

You should regularly clean the battery and atomizer by using purified alcohol (100 proof Vodka) to clean the contact points of the battery and atomizer with a clean DAMP (not Wet) paper towel or Q-Tip. By doing the following regular maintenance your Vapormaxx Vaporizer will perform at optimal levels.

1. If you feel that your Vapormaxx Vaporizer does not produce enough vapor, or it becomes difficult to take a puff, it is necessary to clean the atomizer. The first step is to clear the atomizer of any e-juice. To clear it, blow through the atomizer (contact point side). Clean the inside of the atomizer with a dry paper tissue or Q-Tip to absorb remaining e-juice. If the performance does not improve, continue to the next step..

4. Use a fresh blank cartridge, or remove the filler material in a used cartridge, rinse the filler with warm water until the filler is clean, pat dry with a paper towel. Now put the filler back into the mouthpiece. Pour 3 drops of hot water on the cartridge filler material. Take several hits without inhaling. If the cartridge filler turns brown, repeat until it comes out clean. Performance should be improved after the atomizer is clean.

5. After doing the above steps, and you feel that the performance is poor, there is little vapor, or the pulling is heavy, consider trying to burn off the buildup on the atomizer. Doing this procedure may destroy your atomizer, so only do this to an atomizer that truly does not work. With a fully charged battery connected to your poorly performing atomizer, press the manual switch activation button, if equipped, for 10 seconds. During this operation you should hear some sizzling in the atomizer. If all went well, your atomizer is now performing better.


Major cleaning operation

Do you think your atomizer is completely dead? No vapor at all? Try this cleaning method.

Remove the mouthpiece from the atomizer and disconnect the battery.
Submerge your atomizer in purified alcohol (100 proof vodka). Agitate the atomizer for 5 minutes, drain the atomizer of the alcohol, and repeat 3 times.
Rinse the atomizer with hot water and let dry for 12 to 16 hours with battery contact threads facing up.
Clean contact points of battery and atomizer with a tissue.
After 12 to 16 hours make sure your atomizer is completely dry. Connect a fully charged battery and a fresh cartridge, making sure your cartridge has e-juice in it. Your Vaporizer should be in good working order.

E-Cigarette Use and Care

E-cigarettes and Personal Vaporizers will not last forever, but you are able to extend the life of the device with occasional maintenance.
Battery

Keep the batteries fully charged. The manufacture recommends charging the batteries a full 8 hours before initial use no matter if the charger indicator changes or not. On subsequent charges, 3-4 hours are enough. For the Joyetech eGo, as it carries a fast USB charger, 4 hours is enough for initial charges and 2-3 hours for subsequent charges.

Clean the connection parts of the battery and atomizer with a clean damp paper tissue or Q-tip occasionally.

Device Setup

When you receive your starter kit you should take the following steps to prepare for the best experience.

Battery/Atomizer/Cartridge Setup

a. Blow out your atomizer, your atomizer comes with "primer liquid" inside to keep it moist. Simply blow hard from the threaded end until no more liquid comes out. Failure to do so will result in a bad taste initially. Connect with a fully charged battery and a fresh prefilled or user filled cartridge/cartomizer/tank.

b. If available use an e-juice dropper bottle to drip two drops directly onto the metal coil of the atomizer. Then, insert a factory filled or user filled cartridge.

c. Keep the atomizer clean and don't let it dry out. Replace or refill the cartridge when the performance diminishes.
Here are steps to completely clean the inside of the atomizers, it is recommended to be done every day or every two days:

a. Blow out the atomizer from the screw end with slightly high pressure air.

b. Drip small amount of alcohol into the atomizer, then rinse out with distilled water, shake out well, then blow out with compressed air.

c. Connect the atomizer with a fully charged battery, drip two or three drops of e-juice into the atomizer, take a slow steady “light” drag to get the very best vapor.

Realizing that PEVs and E-Cigs are not real cigarettes, you will have to consciously change your smoking habits to get the full benefits and satisfaction from your device. The draw on an e-cig is much less than a tobacco cigarette so you can’t take a hard draw as you would on a tobacco cigarette. When you take a hard draw you defeat the atomization process causing liquid to be inhaled instead of vapor. The proper inhalation method is a slow steady drag every 30 to 60 seconds, giving the atomizer time to absorb the e-juice wicking from the cartridge, tank or cartomizer. Remember, “Don’t draw too hard; slow and easy to give the atomizer time to heat the liquid, and then wait a few seconds before you take another drag. When taking a drag; take the vapor into your mouth first and then inhale into your lunges for maximum effect and satisfaction.
